Monochrome Street Style Dressing

I think by now you guys know that I LOVE my neutral and monochromatic looks. It’s the ultimate “lazy girl” hack to looking chic and put together. Shhhh! Don’t tell anyone. Seriously though, when I don’t want to use too much brain power around an outfit or if I’m pressed for time, my go to is a monochrome look. By trying not to be too basic and avoiding all black- I opt for a soft monochromatic look- which is your whites and beiges and tans.

My favorite monochromatic vibe to date. Soft monochrome to me is so versatile. Easy to mix with deep browns, tans or blacks if you’d like. You can mix pastels, you can mix bolds, you can mix neon. Possibilities are endless. And of course, yes you can do that with an all-black look too but a soft monochrome look says chic. It says feminine. It says “dang, mama got her stuff ALL the way together”. And that! Is exactly the vibe we like to exude.

This top and bottom is a set from Liebeskind Berlin. Very chic, very soft, with amazing detailing around the neck and shoulders that says everything but boring. Black ankle boots and bag, and a camel trench to keep it “soft” and light.

PS throwing on a camel trench says “I am fashion, babe” no matter what you’re wearing.

Not only is this look easy and effortless, it also transitions favorably from work place to happy hour and you know we stan a multifunctional outfit look.
